Insurer Returns to their Roots

Cardiff based hire vehicle insurance specialists, TFP Schemes have moved back to the site of their original offices, almost ten years after the company was first established.

TFP Schemes commenced trading in 1998 from a small coach house at the rear of    40 Cathedral Road, a decade later the organisation has now returned to the same address, but occupies not only the coach house but also the whole of the main building – Trevillian House.

The property has now been completely renovated over three floors and provides the organisation with over 7,500 sq ft of modern open plan, air conditioned offices incorporating substantial training and boardroom facilities of the highest standard.

The move to new premises completes a very successful twelve month period which has seen the company invest not only in new premises but also in a major re-branding project and the implementation of new “market leading” technology to assist their supporting insurance brokers to conduct business online.

Damian Walsh, a partner at TFP Schemes stated “ten years ago the organisation consisted of four staff based in the small coach house, it is somewhat strange but extremely satisfying that the success of the company sees us return 10 years later to occupy the entire premises. The renovated building will provide the organisation with an excellent base to expand the business further”.

Specialising in the insuring of taxis, taxi fleets and chauffeured vehicles, TFP Schemes works solely through a network of insurance intermediaries across the UK. It is currently the only dedicated wholesale hire vehicle insurer in the UK and supplies its products to a network of over 700 commercial insurance brokers.
