You will no doubt be aware of the above regulation coming into effect from 1st October 2018.
In terms of how this affects our products, processes and service the only significant change for our Aviva Scheme policies, which are all classed as Commercial Products, is that we will now be including the attached “Commercial Insurance Summary” document within the accident pack letter. This document will eventually form part of the standard document packs available on Solo and will be issued manually on our Fleet policies. This document does not replace the existing Summaries of Cover, but is provided in addition to the information contained in current document packs.
Please note this change is not applicable to our Covea Business Mini Fleet policies as all current documentation meets Covea’s requirements for IDD.
